設計の仕事は、なにもないところから未来の建築を想像して形にしていく事ですが
その裏には形にならない数多くのボツ案があります。
それは、設計者の頭の中で消去されるものもありますし、設計も図面も完成している
けれど(様々な理由で)建たなくなることもあります。

その逆に、建築家の画をみて、建てたいということもあり得ます。
多くの仕事は依頼されてから、構想がスタートしますが、構想にあわせて土地を用意して実現することもあります。

上の写真はすでにボツになってしまった案です。
この敷地には、別の建物が立つ予定ですが、この案とは全く違うものになるでしょう。
僕が設計するかも定かではありません。しかし、僕が構想したこの建築は確かにここにあります。

幻のように儚い夢でありますが・・・。
